Today we’re going to teach you how to compose an email in Gmail. When you hit compose, which is the orange button on the left hand side, a window will pop up on the page you’re currently on. This is great because you don’t have to drop what you’re doing to go to a new page to write an email.
When you’re ready to email you can open another email to check on a date or time or some kind of information that you like to include. On the bottom of this window next to the send button is underline day is the formatting options to click on so that you can change the font style, size, color, or to make a list and many more options.
You can also compose several messages at once just by putting on the compose button again.
Now if you want a large window that’s okay you can have that go down on the bottom right-hand corner of the composed window and next to this little black trash can click on the arrow that has more options go up to the top option that says ‘Default to Full Screen’ click on that and the next time you hit compose on the left hand side, a large compose window will pop up. To undo this is simply go back to the arrow and unselect ‘Default to Full Screen’.
