Google Drive is always making strides to work better with Microsoft Office. The ability to easily convert Office Files into Google format has been around for awhile now. With their newest release, Google is allowing you to save Office Files into Google Drive straight from Microsoft Office’s interface.
The Google Drive plug-in for Microsoft Office adds an icon to your Microsoft Office workspace that enables you to not only save directly into Google Drive but also to open your Drive files in MS Office. Cross platform sharing is completely pain free, just save to Drive and share like you ordinarily would.
